Iris encourages us to trust our inner wisdom, reminding us that clarity and courage are most powerful when paired with hope and the willingness to see what is possible.

Iris blooms in two directions at once. Three petals stand upright, reaching toward the sky, while three curve downward and outward, falling open toward the ground. It's a flower built to hold both directions without contradiction, upward and grounded, reaching and rooted, all in the same bloom.

Iris has long been associated with communication, insight, and the ability to move between different states of awareness. It represents wisdom developed through experience, reflection, and the willingness to see clearly. It reflects the understanding that truth and possibility can exist side by side, and that we do not need to choose one over the other.

Iris teaches us that clarity is about trusting what we know and moving forward with courage. It invites us to speak honestly, to live in alignment with ourselves, and to remain open to the beauty and potential that still lie ahead. Like the rainbow it has long been associated with, Iris reminds us that light often reveals itself after periods of uncertainty.

Wisdom is not only found in facing what is difficult, but in recognizing what is beautiful and possible. Iris reminds us to look for the rainbows, to see the world for all its potential, and to know the warmth of a summer day.
