Welcome
Our Story
Some things in life are carefully planned, and others begin with a coincidence you only recognize as significant much later. Ours began at a Christmas market in Toronto, with two booths placed directly opposite one another. At the time, neither of us could have known that a few days spent talking across an aisle would eventually lead to a friendship, a creative partnership, and Forij & Fyorr.
Our conversations continued long after the market ended. We talked about our work, but also about the ideas behind it, the things we were curious about, and what we wanted to create in the world. A friendship grew alongside those conversations, giving us the space to exchange ideas freely, challenge each other, laugh often, and discover where our perspectives aligned and where they didn't.
Those differences have become an important part of Forij & Fyorr. We don't always see things in exactly the same way, and we don't need to. Each of us brings different experiences, instincts and ways of looking at the world. Somewhere along the way, we began to recognize that bringing those perspectives together was creating something neither of us would have arrived at independently.
There wasn't one defining moment when Forij & Fyorr came into being. It emerged gradually through conversations, experiments, questions and ideas that kept leading to other ideas. What began as two people working independently across an aisle from one another slowly became a shared creative practice and a vision for something much larger than either of us had originally imagined.
Looking back, there is something remarkable about how ordinary the beginning was. Two booths at a Christmas market. A conversation between neighbours. Neither of us knew what would come from it, and perhaps that's part of what makes the story meaningful. Sometimes the moments that change the direction of our lives don't announce themselves when they arrive. We only recognize them later, when we can finally see what grew from them.
Forij & Fyorr grew from one of those moments. From friendship, curiosity, different perspectives, and the discovery of what becomes possible when we create in conversation with one another.
The Founders
Forij & Fyorr took shape through trust, timing, and a willingness to follow what felt true, even when the path wasn’t always clear. Forij looks outward, exploring our relationship with the living world and the places, materials, and botanicals that connect us to it. Fyorr looks inward, exploring intuition, memory, reflection, and the parts of ourselves we are still discovering. Together, they explore the relationship between the world around us and the world within us, and the ways each continually shapes the other.
Krista
is a designer whose work is rooted in a deep connection to the natural world and a lifelong curiosity about the relationships that exist between ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
She is drawn to materials, forms, and subtle details, and to the ways they can help us recognize something familiar in our own lives. Her creative practice explores these connections through the objects we choose to keep close. She is interested in what draws us to certain pieces, the memories and experiences they come to hold, and how something tangible can remind us of a person, a place, a moment, or a part of ourselves.
Through design and the development of collections, she creates pieces that invite people to look a little closer and discover their own meaning within them. At the heart of her work is a belief that connection is something we can find in many places, and that the things we carry with us can help us remember what matters.
Natasha
is an intuitive whose work is rooted in seeing what is often unseen. She has a natural ability to perceive beyond what is presented, guiding others toward the truth of who they are at their core.
There has always been a deep appreciation for objects that carry meaning, things that hold a sense of connection, memory, and feeling. What began as a quiet love for pieces that felt personal and intentional has, over time, become part of the way she now creates. It was never something she imagined stepping into, but rather something that unfolded naturally as an extension of her work and her understanding of connection.
Her work is not about surface-level change. It is about helping people reconnect to their essence, understand their patterns, and move forward with clarity and self-trust. Through speaking, writing, and mentorship, she creates spaces where people feel both deeply seen and challenged to step into who they are becoming.

FORIJ — THE LIVING WORLD
A practice of noticing.
Drawn from changing light, what grows from the land, and the patient language of the seasons. Forij reminds us to stay in conversation with the world around us.
FYORR — THE INNER WORLD
A way of returning.
Made for the inner weather: intuition, transformation, and what connects us beneath the surface. Fyorr keeps space for the things that cannot always be named, but can be felt.
HOW WE MAKE
01
Material honesty
We choose materials for their character, longevity, and ability to grow more personal with time.
02
Slow consideration
Every proportion is considered until it feels inevitable: close to the body, easy to live with, made to be kept.
03
Lasting connection
Our pieces are designed to gather a life of their own, becoming more familiar as they accompany yours.
